| The college has stepped into the postgraduate education with the commencement of M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from the academic year 2009-10. The Chemistry Department is one of the well-equipped departments with necessary infrastructure situated in an area of about 7000 sqft. There are five spacious laboratories along with ancillary facilities like preparation room, balance room, acid room, gas store, departmental staff room etc., apart from spacious classrooms offering excellent environment for higher learning. The department has its own library with requisite number of books in all branches of Chemistry. The results of Chemistry department for undergraduate classes have been encouraging and the department ranks amongst the best in the Karnatak University area. |
