Ladies Association has been one of the active departments of the G S S college providing a platform to the girl students as well as to the lady staff members. They showcase their interests and talents in different fields using this appropriate stage. The motto of the association has been to empower women in every walk of life, especially the girl students. Many students use this opportunity to launch themselves in their fields of interest. Every year the association organizes many activities in this regard such as guest lectures, interaction with the experts ,celebration of women’s day and appreciating and honoring the talent of women’s skill . The association tries to explore the hidden talent in the students. It organizes many exhibitions and competitions for the students. The students participate in competitions like singing, dancing, cooking, rangoli making, painting and many more. It also organizes intra-collegiate competitions to give an exposure to the girl students of the college. It also takes care of women’s health and personality development.

Mrs. Bharati Solapurmath, Asst.Professor of Botany Department is the present chairperson of the association who is in the charge since 2015 along with following members of the committee.
