GSS College proudly hosted Indradhanush 2025, a vibrant one-day cultural fest organized under the banner of SKE Society. Held on February 25, 2025, the event brought together students from all seven academic sections – PUC, BSc, BBA, BCA, MSc, BA, and BCom – to celebrate talent, culture, and unity through various creative platforms.

✨ Inaugural Ceremony

The day began with an energetic inauguration graced by eminent dignitaries including Shri S.Y. Prabhu (Vice Chairman, SKE Society), Smt. Madhuri M. Shanbhag (Chairman, College Managing Committee), and Prof. Abhay K. Samant (Principal, GSS College). Guests were warmly felicitated by Mrs. Namita Samant, and the colorful release of poppers marked a symbolic start to the festivities. A captivating flash mob by students set the tone for an exciting day ahead.

Indradhanush 2025 featured a wide array of competitions designed to explore the artistic and intellectual potential of students:

• Swadyatra – Food Market

The prestigious Indra and Indrani Awards were presented to recognize exceptional individual talents.

🏁 Valedictory Ceremony

The closing ceremony was held at K.M. Giri Hall at 5:00 PM, with Smt. Lata Kittur (Honorary Secretary, SKE Society) as the Chief Guest. She emphasized the importance of cultural activities in holistic development and the growing relevance of skill-based learning.

Principal Prof. Abhay K. Samant delivered the presidential address, encouraging students to actively take part in such events for personal growth. Prizes were awarded to winners of all competitions, and the BCA section claimed the General Championship Trophy for outstanding overall performance.

Over 150 students participated, making the event a memorable success. Mr. Malhar Dalavi, General Secretary, concluded the evening with a heartfelt vote of thanks. The event ended on a patriotic note with the National Anthem.
